UPF sees that world peace is sustained by ethical and altruistic individuals and families who, in turn, create safe, caring and just communities and nations. UPF also understands that peace can only be created and sustained through interreligious dialogue and co-operation, through consistent international cultural exchange, and through organizations and societies purposefully dialoguing and working together in order to remove the barriers that divide the world today. UPF also believes that the UN millennium development goals (MDGs) and the UN’s Universal Declaration of Human Rights should be supported for the key roles they play in creating lasting peace.
