Welcome to the Finnish Unification Movement

Welcome to our homepage! The Unification Movement is a movement to encourage spiritual maturity in the individual and to promote the value of the extended family – exercising our God-given potential and thereby enabling society to function well.

The purpose of the Unification Movement’s combined efforts is to foster a ‘culture of heart’ where all people can live together peaceably, consigning the barriers of race, religion, culture and nationality to the history books. Now is the time for us to live in harmony with each other and with the natural world.

The Movement works in various areas of life in Finland and worldwide in the form of different organisations presented on this site. The main organisation FFWPU (Family Federation for World Peace and Unification) represents the religious aspect of the Movement.

Peace and Family Festival - Dance, Music & Inspiration in the Wiener Stadthalle on 29 April 2018

There will be a ‘Peace Festival’ on Sunday 29 April 2018, at 15:00 in the Wiener Stadthalle. The organizers expect an audience of 10,000 from over 40 nations throughout Europe and as far away as Japan and the USA

Festival organizer Dr. Michael Balcomb, chairman of the Family Federation for World Peace - Europe and Middle East explains: “we are very happy to announce the coming of the Peace Starts with Me Festival to the famous Wiener Stadthalle, which celebrates its 60th Anniversary this year. The festival has previously been held with great success in prestigious venues around the world such as Madison Square Garden, New York; the World Cup Stadium, Seoul; the Olympic Tennis Center, Tokyo, and the Impact Arena in Bangkok.

Our keynote speaker, Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon, is a tireless advocate for peace and reconciliation. Founder of the SunHak Peace Prize, she has supported initiatives for refugees, access to education for women and girls, food security, supporting marriage and family, and protecting the environment. Her hope is that we will be uplifted and transformed today. Our lives and our actions will make a difference when we live for the sake of others.

We have some great entertainment including the Longfield Gospel Choir, which is Vienna’s largest; the Attraction shadow dance team from Budapest, past winners of Britain’s Got Talent; Serbian star Nevena Božović; multiple Grammy-winning artist Yolanda Adams from the United States, and more. So don’t just sit there: get up on your feet, and tell the world- that “Peace Starts with Me.” There are still tickets available for the Peace Festival in the Wiener Stadthalle
